Our Legacy Club is a group of passionate individuals who share a commitment to support and sustain the many programs and projects that enhance the quality of life in the Mequon and Thiensville communities. Membership means making a gift now or in the future, which you can designate to a specific project or let the foundation determine where it is needed most.
Membership in Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation’s Legacy Club is open to anyone who makes a gift now or in the future of $10,000 or more. Beginning late 2022, members will be perpetually listed on this Legacy Club page and will receive recognition in other ways throughout the year. That commitment can be made in a variety of ways:
An Outright Gift
Cash or appreciated securities at a level of $10,000 or greater.
Gifts of Life Insurance
Naming Mequon Community Foundation as an owner or beneficiary of a policy.
Testamentary Gifts
A will or bequest designating a specific amount, assets, or percentage of the donor’s estate.
Trusts
A form of a charitable trust can be established that will provide the donor with income and/or tax advantage.
Making a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)
Tax-effective way of donating IRA distributed funds directly to a charity.
Through these generous contributions, the Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation can continue to make a difference in your community.
